Hi Scotty, I was hoping to ask for your opinion about a buying a 2008 MazdaSpeed3. It's from a private party, has 91,000 miles and the seller is asking $6,000. They mentioned the car has fluttering RPMs at idling but drives perfectly fine. Would this be a reliable car to buy for the price he's asking?

Better get it checked out by a mechanic and scan for codes to diagnose the unstable RPMs. Then go from there.

Definitely have it checked out by a mechanic since people rag the heck out of those Mazdaspeed cars.
