None of the above. I wouldn't buy anything from Jeep after 1987 when they were taken over by Chrysler.

What’s the engine and transmission on the Outlander? 

Most outlanders have horrid transmissions but some have reasonably good ones.

Any other options?

Avoid the Mitsubishi. What is the engine of the Jeep Commander? It was either a 3.7 V6, 4.7 V8 or 5.7 Hemi. What is also the mileage and price?

Outlander is out, they didn't like it. They like the commander, but with a little over 200k I'm thinking not a great idea. I highly doubt they will even consider a v8 so has to be the v6

Then don't buy the commander. What's the condition of the Jeep Liberty?
