Scotty, First, thank you for taking time to help the working man keep from being cheated by dishonest car repair shops! 

I have a 2008 Nissan Armada, V8, with 132599 miles. Worked beautifully until I made it home with chicken feed yesterday evening. After unloading, I started car and attempted to place into "Drive" by moving console shifter, but it felt like the shifter moved too freely, and it did not move the transmission from Park to Drive, or any other gear. I checked the tranny fluid level. It was 1 1/2 quarts low, but after topping the fluid off, the shifter still will not place car into ANY gear. The car stays in Park. What should I look at next, and thereafter, in order to locate the problem?
