I have a 2008 Nissan Rogue, there’s a loud clunking noise coming from underneath and I think it’s the drive shaft. There’s a whining noise like an airplane engine whine coming from the rear differential. When I put my phone underneath my car and recorded I heard the clunk noise coming from the middle of the shaft and when it made that noise the whole drive shaft shakes or stops while I drive, it’s supposed to continuously spin but instead it shakes stops and clunks violently. I don’t know if it’s the cvt or the whole drive train.
