Nothing is wrong with my transmission YET I got a 2008 Nissan frontier 4.0 auto with 98,000 miles to be safe before the cooler in the radiator for the transmission fluid goes bad can I take the hose off the radiator and just run it through the transmission cooler located in front of the radiator
You should still keep it as two coolers I’ve always just bought an aftermarket universal trans cooler and installed in front of the radiator and just bypass the radiator one and you’ll be safe
are you saying to put another cooler aside of the factory one then I can disconnect it from the radiator
Yes leave the other cooler intact and just add another one to eliminate the radiator one there’s plenty of room in front that’ll be on the lower half of the radiator and take air directly from the opening on the front bumper
