Scotty.. I have a 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix V6, 3.8L with 181,000 miles. It occasionally hesitates /idles rough when at a stop, or accelerating up a hill. Cleaned the MAF sensor and bought a brand new MAP sensor. Cleaned out the throttle body as well. Brand new air filter, too. Transmission fluid still appears to be clean and no burnt smell. No check engine light codes. What do you think it could be?

How old is the fuel filter? Is fuel pressure OK? How old are the spark plugs? Have you checked live data for problems?
