Hi Scotty, just wanted your input on if a 2008 Rav 4 V6 AWD with 263,000 miles on it would be a good daily driver. I have a truck too but I want something that is better on gas and that I can take to work or on road trips. I have a friend with a 2004 Rav 4 with the 4 cylinder, he beats the absolute bricks off it and it has over 300,000 miles and it still runs and drives excellent. With that being said I know the history of this car and it has been immaculately cared for its whole life. The guy is asking $4600 which is under kbb and I’m fine paying it. I just want to know if you and the members of this group think this would be a good investment. Thanks for your time and advice.

I would not exactly describe a 16-year-old vehicle with high mileage as an "investment".
It might be OK but you need a good mechanic to give it a thorough inspection before purchase.
