My daughters Scion TC is an oil burner to say the least. She just finished college, has a teaching job and needs a car. Too bad car prices are the way they are. It still gets her from a to b. Would it hurt to try some restore in this engine? I know the days of that car are numbered but what do you think. I tell her just keep adding oil and lets see what happens. She bought the car 4 years ago for 2k so she is getting her monies worth.

Oh you can try what the heck it might help a little just realized it's bad piston rings they're just worn because they didn't build them right
