Hi Scotty,
I'm looking at a 2008 Silverado with the 6.6 LMM. The truck has 215k miles and was a highway queen. It is a zero rust truck from OK, and overall is in good condition. The motor and tranny have a documented service history (Carfax) with regular tranny fluid changes from about 100k forward. What are your thoughts on the 2500HD Chevies from this era and the LMM in general? The truck is stock and has not been deleted and has no mods.

Well, I'm not a GM fan, but those 2500s are actually pretty decent trucks. Though I would still pay a mechanic to check it out. If I were you, you never know they could be hidden stuff that he can find with his computer
