I have a 2008 Tacoma V6, automatic transmission, with 104K miles. Randomly but not often, when completely stopped the truck feels like its lunging forward. It feels like someone tapped my bumper from behind. Is the transmission going out? Anyone else experience this? Thanks Mark

That is a classic sign of the transmission starting to go but if you change the fluid and filter a lot of times it'll fix it

Just another reason why I never have owned a vehicle with an automatic transmission.
