My parents have a 2008 Toyota Camry it has 170,000 miles and automatic transmission. Whenever you over 30 mph the whole car starts shaking when you slow down it stops. It has been doing this for over a year. They drive it every day and it hasn't got any worse that I've noticed. Nothing is loose under the car and they won't take it to a mechanic.

then I guess they have to drive a shaky car that might kill them someday

Alignment and balancing isn't really something you can help them with.
