Hi Scotty,
I have a 2008 toyota corolla with about 105k miles on it. I have it since it had 80k miles (3 years ago). Recently I have been feeling some vibration when I'm in the highway above 65-70 mph. Also the steering wheel at higher speed than 70mph it feels a little bit unstable. I changed the tires back in September or October 2020 but I already balanced the tires again just couple of months ago. I took the car to the shop recently and they told me that the issue was the lower arm control, specially the one in the driver side. I had my doubts since the diagnostic was pretty quick. I took the car to another mechanic and this one says that the problem could be the struts just by doing a quick inspection since he hadn’t time today. I’m really not confident with any of their advice. I've done a video where I can hear like a clunking sound when I brake, which would be caused by the arm control in this side I believe. If you could check it out and provide your input I would really appreciate it, link is below. https://drive.google.com/file/d/19poAZ2uw45x2zDc_3Z9GvShMECzTn3V3/view?usp=sharing
Thanks.
