I have an 07 Nissan Altima 3.5 with push to start, issue I'm having is that the car won't start, won't even go into acc mode or on, car only shows a steering wheel icon with the push to start icon next to it, I thought at first It was the intelligent key but that still opens the car and it's detected. Issue started after I change the break light switch because it wouldn't start sometimes, do you think that's related ?

It can still open the car but the transponder may not be working. The car could be stuck in security mode as well. If you have a secondary key have you tried it?
I don't have two keys, I ordered a new one, weird update... I disconnected the battery for a few hours as a hail Mary and the car is working, you think the smart key is failing? Or could be another thing ?
No sometimes the security system can go into lockdown mode. Some models can be clears by unplugging battery for awhile. Some you gotta remove both cables and short them together, and the upper more expensive ones, especially Mercedes, when they lockdown you gotta have em towed to the dealer. And it aint cheap either.
