Hey Scotty, it's been a while, how are you doing? I've got lots of stuff to do in school, takes a lot of time, lol. Congratulations to moving to Tennessee! I've got a question, what's your opinion on a used 2009 Audi A6 3.0 TDI with a standard transmission with 85k miles? Here in Europe, it's of course made in Germany and also taken care of. Dealer is asking 13 grands. Their Diesel engines being reliable and being a standard transmission, do you think it might last a while or fall apart soon?
Hy!
This generation was made between 2004 and 2011 so your may be good.
Be leery about timing chain tensioner, water pump and EGR valve.
This transmission has dual mass flywheel so there you can also expect huge costs if it goes out.
Be sure it does not have any rust and any problems with electronics.
Good luck!
@g-t
Thanks man! π
