Hello from Nashville, TN, Scotty! My name is Isabella. Here is my video of a knocking noise in my engine I just filmed this afternoon:
Currently at 167k mi, purchased at 164k
timing belt was replaced at 159k (before I purchased car)
I noticed the knocking sound after driving for 2k mi. but am unsure if it was noticeable before the fact.
Another video here says it’s the tensioner but I wanted to get your blessing/opinion before moving forward since it’s an interference engine!
Brad is attention because if not it's going to be a very expensive repair Bill tearing the engine down
I live in Nashville, im going to get it inspected by a mechanic. Id actually like to drive it up to you if you are taking new clients. I have an interference engine so im worried that my 7,000 dollars might be flushed. Would love to have it worked on by someone trust worthy. Do you think its worth driving it your way and Are you taking new clients ?
