I have a 2009 Hummer H3 with 149,500 miles and today after doing my pre-long distance travel inspection noticed a torn bellow on the rack and pinion. I ordered a new one from Rockauto and have a 800 mile round trip drive coming up, and won’t be able to change it until after the trip.
Will this be ok?

Sure just realized it's just a dust shield to keep dust off the actual seals are inside the rack
