- 86000kms
- just had brakes redone
- feel like I have to spend $500-1000k every 3 months or so
- the thing has sat for a long time so the muffler is all rusted
- Work gives me $500 monthly car allowance
- 22 years old with not much saved, so looking for advice on if I should just keep driving it or get a newer car (want a manual corolla)

You'd be better off with a Corolla if you can manage it. That 15-year-old Accent is a bottom-of-the-barrel model from a bottom-of-the-barrel manufacturer.
