My name is Dyann and my ESC off & ABS lights decided to turn on. They’ve been on about a week now. My friend who’s a mobile mechanic works on BMWs mainly but said it was dangerous to drive but I didn’t know if that was true because I saw your ABS video it’s ok to drive because we don’t get a lot of snow here in TX. Do I need to get the car fixed? Is it safe to drive? Thank you!
Your friend means well. With ABS not functioning properly, braking will take some extra effort. If it were me, I would have it repaired. And if you have a state inspection coming up, you'll want to get it fixed as they will not pass it as it is.

Well it depends on what the issue is. Could be sensors, could be a module. Just depends. But when they use a scan tool they can narrow it down for you really quick.
If the ABS lights is on, your brake system still works but without ABS option. You said you drove a week with that. How does it work for you?
