Hi Scotty,
In my 2009 Optima (120k), the passenger window goes down only by driver side switch, but goes up only by the passenger side switch. All other windows work perfectly fine. What is the problem and is it usually expensive to repair?

That is an odd one should be the motor starting to go out I would take apart that door and give power and ground directly from the battery using jumper cables to the motor to see if the motor operates correctly or not now if the motor operates correctly then you have a real wacky wiring problem could even be in the module that operates the power windows
