Planning to change the power steering fluid and local auto part store representative told me that I should use STP automatic transmission fluid multi purpose ATF. Is this valid? Thanks in advance.

The owners manual for my 2007 ES350 says use DEXRON II or III automatic transmission fluid.

it should say in your owner's manual what power steering fluid your vehicle takes
