Scotty,
I just bought a 2009 Lexus GS 350, rear wheel drive. It has 100,000 miles. A computer scan revealed no codes. Both Carfax and the dealership attest to meticulous maintenance by the previous owner. It has a new serpentine belt and the hoses look good. For long road trips, should I worry about things like the water pump, fuel pump, or hoses since the car is 12 years old? Or, can I confidently drive it and just take it in for regular maintenance and inspection by a mechanic?

If there’s no obvious leaks or symptoms, the latter.
