Looking at 2009 Lexus gx470 84,000 miles
or
2017 Dodge Durango v6
looking to replace 07 Jeep commander 4.7 with 117000
have Jeep for 8 years from 48,000 milesvery reliable for me
lexus can go 200,000 300,000 plus miles?
looking for long haul

If the Lexus appears to be maintained fairly well, that should be a better choice. Those GX's were fairly basic vehicles (not too much technology), and have good mechanical internals. Good luck on the purchase!
