I have the infamous 2AZFE Oil burn engine in my 2009 Matrix. 169k. Runs great, no smoke, just have to micro-manage oil.
Thinking about adding the ATS Oil Carbon Cleaner and do a round of oil changes, hoping to help (not fix) the oil consumption issue. I also have the ATS gas treatment on-hand.
Pretty sure Scotty has recommended ATS as a "why not try it" option to remove carbon on the piston rings and lossen them.
Any thoughts or experience on using ATS under these engine conditions? Might it help?

It probably won't help much since the problem with those engines is defective piston rings from the factory rather than carbon buildup. However aside from the cost of the product there's nothing to lose by giving it a try.
