I have a 2009 honda pilot, 3.5L V6 w/ 174k miles automatic trans. I've been dealing with this rumble for the last 3-4 yrs. It happens when I hit above 35 mph. I've read that it may be a bad U-joint, or it could be the VCM that tends to cause vibration. I'd like to get your input. It's starting to get annoying and I'm ready to tackle this problem. Thanks.
Any codes? To rule out the vcm you should really have a scan done if the bulb burnt out.
Doesn't hurt to jack up each corner & check for play, costs you nothing but time.
With that mileage it could be several mechanical issues. If has been doing this for 3-4 years it's likely the part would have failed by now unless you barely move it.
P0430 is the recent code I’ve gotten, about 5 months ago. Check engine comes on then shuts off every so often. Prior to that, I’ve gotten no codes.
