Electronic Throttle Control light coming on dashboard. No other codes with scan tool. Once in a while it doesn't start. Battery tested okay but don't know the age. 90,000 miles V8 automatic transmission. Help. Thanks.

Well you'd need a guy like me with a fancy scan tool to analyze the whole system but generally it means either the accelerator pedal sensor is bad or the throttle assembly itself. And of course the sensors are a lot cheaper pray it's that
