Hi scotty. My 2009 Pontiac G5 has a brake switch "a" circuit high code and I have no idea what that means please educate me on that. Also I find that it sounds like it misfires a bit when I hiver around 1500 rpm. Any input on that? Thank you so much for your time.

Provide the exact codes you have.

Well just replace the brake light switch if it's shot it'll draw too much power and pray it's not more complex. That's for the misfire zillions of things can make a car misfire check the spark plugs run a computer scan to see if it is an actual misfire it would show on the computer which cylinder it is in which case it could be a bad ignition coil or a bad fuel injector. But you always want to look at the data not just gas so have a good scan tool hooked up
