Hi Scotty! I love your content and I think you may have what it takes to help me figure out this new car I just bought. I have a 2005 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GTS, 3L engine with a 5 speed manual. The vehicle only has 65,500 miles on it and it is lunging very aggressively in the lower gears. Had someone tell me it could be the Spyder gears in the front differential, a bad clutch or an overall bad transmission, but I find that hard to believe. I know it clicks if I'm turning sharply in a lower gear, but I'm almost positive that's a joint issue in the front. What are you thinking and where could I find parts if applicable? Thanks for your time!
I would get it scanned for codes to eliminate any engine problems that may be causing the lunging, like misfires.
