I have an 07 Eclipse 2.4 it has about 150k miles, i have gone through several batteries since i got the car. I just went through another in only 4 months. Last time i drove it, it was revving very high and almost like pulling itself while in drive. In park around 2000-2500 rpm. i parked it back at my house the next morning it was completely dead. not sure what causing it. i haven’t got a new battery yet, so not sure if it will still be acting like that.

Have your charging system checked out.
