I've got an '09 proton savvy, automatic. Sometimes when driving the transmission fault light comes on the dashboard, and the speedometer will drop to 0, however the car keeps driving as normal. Any idea what the cause is?
The issue is intermittent, comes and goes pretty randomly, I can't work out a cause anyway.
Car was only recently bought and is under warranty, first time I brought it to the dealership he said because the car had been sat for a while it could just need the fluids cleared out and replaced. That's been done, it stopped happening for maybe a couple weeks, then started happening again.
Any and all help appreciated.

You'll need to get the computer scanned with a diagnostic reader.
