Should I buy a 2012 Volvo to replace my rusting Saturn?

Scotty, I have a 2009 Saturn Vue with about 90,000 miles, I took it in to get an oil change and the mechanic told me that my rear subframe was starting to rust out. How long should the car last and should I get a second opinion?

Also, I have been looking at a 2012 Volvo XC60 T6 AWD R-Design with about 129,000 miles with the straight 6 turbo, the dealer is selling for 14,593 is that a good price?

Saturns were rust buckets so it's typical. It's not all that safe, but if you use it for a runaround car, what the heck? I wouldn't take a long trips on it. But Volvo's tend to be endless money pits with that kind of mileage. I'd be very leery about the transmission. I wouldn't buy it at all
