Hello everyone,
My friend has an 09 Toyota Camry LE of which it's alternator is making a loud high pitch noise, we are looking to replace it but we're not sure what to buy.
He's looking to spend $150 perhaps a bit more but the $300 to $400 and over price is a bit of a stretch for him.
1. Does anyone know the brand of alternator Toyota uses in that model?
2. Should we purchase from AutoZone, get a remanufactured Denso brand off of Ebay or what next move do any of you recommend?

Well they use Dan so alternators now the thing is almost all the ones you buy are rebuilt and it only depends if they rebuilt them correctly or not. I would never use eBay cuz you have no idea of quality. For those. I always use local companies and then if you have a problem such as AutoZone they offer lifetime warranties and you never have to buy another one in regardless of whether it broke again or not
