no ambient temp in cluster

2009 Toyota Rav 4 2.5L

Good day had a code for the ambient air temperature sensor behind the front bumper and changed it but it still doesn't read on the cluster. Can anyone tell me more on this?

look for wiring faults. chafed/broken wires, loose/corroded connectors, etc.
