Hey Scotty,

My rav4 has 135k miles 4 cyln. It shut off driving down the road. I got a mass air flow sensor and a temp control sensor on my scanner. I changed both of those and my air filter cause i couldnt see through it lol. I changed fuel filter and i am getting fuel at the rail. I have checked all fuses as well as replaced my crankshaft position sensor. Also i changed ignition. I am getting no spark at coils. My rpm gauge moves as i crank it.  I did get a new battery from Oriellys and i took it back in 2 months and got another one. My car has been setting a couple months now as i have tried to get a mechanic to help but nobody wants to work anymore. My battery is dead again i guess cause of setting. Could the issue be my alternator? Thank you, Claeb.

If your new battery is dead, your alternator is probably dead too.  Have it load tested.
