2010 axio - 68,000ks - transmission issue?

Hi team. I have a 2010 axio with 68,000 kms. The car is starting to have an issue where, at low speeds, the rpm will suddenly drop back to 1,100 from say 1,300/1,400. It’s fine when driving at a constant pace / higher anpeed and sits around 1,100 nicely. It can make a slight jerk when this happens. I’m concerned it’s a sign that the transmission is slipping. I’ve asked the dealer if they can change the cvt fluid but they claim that they don’t have this (I live in grand cayman). Any ideas what might be causing this and whether it’s likely a transmission issue? Again, drives fine once up to speed. Seems very unlucky given the low kms but maybe it is wound back.

Sad but true. 99% of the time that is the transmission starting to go out as those have known problems with those cvts. I know it's hard to find good mechanics in the islands I've been there and there ain't too many good mechanics that even know how to analyze that stuff. But try to find a transmission guy to go through it
