Climate control backlight

I have a 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt with 128,000 miles. It’s been a pretty good solid vehicle since I started owning it. I have an issue where the one of the backlights for the climate control don’t work. I have checked the bulbs and one of them was out. I went to eBay and bought one that promised it worked great but when I plugged it in non of the backlights worked. When I flicked the board I got two of the left lights to work but I couldn’t for the life of me get the right ones to work. Both of the units worked fine other than the bulb. It’s only one bulb but I’m ver OCD and want this car to be as perfect as it could be.

You didn't show any pictures or bulb numbers, but you probably just got some bad ones, or incorrect voltage. Not surprising from eBay.

These bulbs are commonly used by model makers. Especially train lovers. Check hobby shops in your area. Usually called "grain of wheat" bulbs.

Clean up the bulb socket contacts.

Thank you!

I don't know if that's causing your problem but I've experienced that kind of thing in older vehicles. Depending on the construction of the bulb sockets it can also help to pry the contacts up a bit to get better contact. (Of course as @imperator says you might have gotten defective bulbs from ebay so you should test them to be sure.)
