I don't get any sound from the front two speakers not even blinker noise. The rear speakers work amazingly but the fronts not at all I changed the settings on the radio to cowitch to front speakers but no noise not even buzzing. Is it most likely wiring, the radio, or speakers themselves, or a combination of all 3? how can I test myself to see what's wrong?
isolate each one.
1. grab a known good speaker. Any speaker. An old pair of headphones would work. Or just pull one out of the back if you done have one. Now connect it instead of the front speaker. If it works then you know the speaker is blown.
2. pull out the stereo. Connect your test speaker directly to the stereo output. You may have to get creative here but try just stuffing the wires into the back of the connector. You will need a stereo pinout or schematic for your vehicle, but I'm sure it could be found online. If it works then you know the wiring is bad (most often the wires break in the door harness where it bends back and forth). If you don't sound then the stereo channel is blown.
optional: verify diagnosis with known good stereo.
