Interested in buying a 2010 Toyota Corolla. 193,443 miles. Base model no power windows or locks no cruise control or anti theft. Young women got it from her grandmother. it has exterior scratches and scrapes. She will take $ 4,250.00. I checked the transmission fluide and it is dark brown and dirty. Transmission shifts ok. She believes the transmission fluide has never been changed on this vehicle. Should I take a chance on it or walk away. Thanks Scotty, love your videos. I appreciate everyone's input. Thanks

Considering the age/mileage, I would pass, unless it has been meticulously taken care of.

I would try and find something better.

Run away.  The transmission maintenance obviously hasn't been kept up which likely indicates a general lack of maintenance on the car.  If you can have and independent mechanic do a compression test and other inspections on the vehicle to see what condition it's really in, great.  Otherwise, I'd walk on this one.  It's overpriced anyway.

Everything is overpriced in this crazy market.

@daywalker - copy that, so true.

Thanks, I walked away just not worth the the risk. Nice looking car, but a transmission is expensive.
