- Scotty!! I’ve been watching your videos for years. I truly appreciate you! I recently ran into a severe issue with rust on the rear subframe of a 2014 Mercedes Benz CLS550. The car is currently in the shop getting it replaced. Can you please do a video about the rear subframe issues Mercedes’ Benz is choosing to ignore in the States. I have messaged Mercedes corporate and the likes to no avail. There needs to be a recall for this issue. It is $3100 to have this part replaced. Mercedes won’t stand by their product here. In Canada it’s a recall, and most overseas countries replace the subframe for free. If you research rear subframe rust on most Mercedes’ models, you will see so many affected looking for relief. These are cars under 10 years old with under 100k miles. I would truly appreciate the exposure to help push Mercedes to issuing a recall and help many people suffering from rear subframe rot due to manufacturing issues. Thank you for your time.

Canadian here.
There are no recalls for your vehicle involving the rear subframe.
most overseas countries replace the subframe for free
is yours manufactured at the same plant?
