Hi Scotty,

I bought a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500. Every thing was great for about 12hrs. Then the front right break locked up and got damn hot getting home. Well I bought it as is and tried to get some help form the dealer who told me to bad as/is. Well I rebuilt the front breaks. New Rotors, Calipers, pads and a new hub bearing on the right side. Yes I rebuilt the both. Everything goes fine for about a month and the same problem comes right back. Right front seizes and super hot. Asked my "friends" who supposedly know cars and was told hey they sold you a bad rotor. Ok so just on the right front new rotor, caliper and pads. get it all together and blead. Test it and damnit; its still rubbing. I jack up both sides and rotate the wheels and well seems both sides are rubbing but only the right side gets hot. (didn't let it get real hot this time). Wondering if is just a need for new soft lines or master cylinder, power booster or the ABS block? Tired of smokin hot breaks. Thanks.

Hire a lawyer car dealerships are liable for pre-existing conditions the thing breaks a day after you buy it that's a pre-existing condition.dealerships are off and scumbags and they say you bought it as is that doesn't mean squat in terms of pre-existing conditions and laws

Scotty is right. Nail his balls to wall. Make a stink about it too. Call the local news station.

In the meantime, I would suspect the rubber lines too.
