Hi Scotty. 2010 F150 with 4.6 liter V8 has 215000 miles. The transmission does not downshift correctly when lightly accelerating. It seems to be staying in the high gear and vibrates. When I let go of the accelerator and reapply quickly it usually downshifts correctly. I read that there a software reprogramming solution for this issue. Is this true or do I need to check fluid level or something else. Thank you... Joe

Well you could drive software reprogramming but really with that mileage they generally wear out that way and eventually would need rebuilding. Most F-150 trannies are good for $150 to 200 something thousand miles than need rebuilding
