Hi Scotty,
I have owned a 1996 Nissan pick up for 23 years with 420,000 miles on it and I don’t hesitate to drive it anywhere. It still runs great, looks good, and doesn’t burn any oil but I know I’ll have to replace her later.
I am looking at a 2010 Honda Civic with automatic transmission and 130,000 miles. It is in excellent condition with a clear car fax for $4800.00. Was 2010 a good year for the Civic and is $4800.00 a fair price?
Thanks for all you do!!
They are generally good cars but the price is a bit high.
Never trust anything from Carfax and it's way over priced.
Was 2010 a good year for the Civic
Yes, that was the second to last year of that generation (2006-2011) and more refined than the earlier years of that generation. Watch for possible engine vibration (worn mounts), paint peel/chipping, brake wear, and make sure the transmission is not worn: you need a good, independent mechanic to thoroughly check it out anyways esp. with his high level scan tool.

The asking price is too high for that mileage. And watch the video below from Scotty; don't trust a carfax report. The best thing is to have a trusted mechanic check the car.

One of the best year and generation ever made by Honda. Price is way too high, you could get half the mileage for that price, but market is crazy right now anyway. Car is great but I'd wait for the market to settle down.
