2010 Honda Civic with intermittent electric window problem.

Hi Scotty, Before buying this used car I requested that the dealership fix the passenger side front window that would not operate. The dealership spent $180 to fix what I believe they said was a master switch which made the window operate from both the driver and passenger sides. Since then a few months later it could only role down; stuck down. I replaced the motor assembly in the door. The window works intermittently when my wife jostled the connection to the switch 1 time which allowed the window to role up. Fearing that if we are able to get it to role down and not up I am keeping it rolled up. I checked the fuze under the dash #30 and found it to be good. Could it be I have a bad switch in the door? Any other Ideas? It gets power at times. Goes down more than up. Thanks for your attention.

door window and lock issue are most often caused by broken wires in the door harness. Over time, bending them back and forth fatigues them.

You really should contact Lucas Electrical in England.  I think they invented the intermittent working wipers and self dimming headlights.  The also hold the patent for the short circuit.  There motto is "Get Home Before Dark."
