I have a 2010 Hyundia Santa Fe that slips or jerks at around 40mph when you have the rpms lower than 3000... If you push the pedal more and raise the rpms above that it shifts fine... It also manually shifts fine manually with the manual shifter option... Should I change the transmission fluid or is it possible a wheel speed sensor is causing the issue? Is there a shift modulator in this model that might be causing the issue? The vehicle has 149k miles on it and im hesitant to change the fluid because I dont want to cause more issues. Ive also hooked my code reader up and it said the transmission fluid was hot at 157 degrees ... Please help!
Nothing wrong to change the ATF, just don't flush it. If it has a serviceable filter, change that out too.
