The used car market absolutely SUCKS right now but I need a replacement for my 2001 Toyota Corolla. I like the Matrix a lot and it seems like nothing major is wrong with this specific one (I had it looked at by a mechanic).
Is it worth $6,500? I'm seeing other threads about people finding them with WAY less milage and only like $1000 more...

Which engine does it have? If it's a 1.8, they are great but I would probably pay $5000 for that, considering the mileage and the fact it's 11 years old. If it's a 2.4, I would walk away since those were problematic with excessive oil consumption.
