Hello all,
My car, 2010 Mazda3 110k miles manual transmission, sometimes has difficulty turning over after a cold night. This morning it failed to turn over entirely. I replaced the battery and spark plugs myself in December 2020. When it isn't cold out the car works perfectly.
Has anyone dealt with this before?
Have you verified your antifreeze is topped up?
I would still check the battery with a voltmeter just to verify it is holding charge. It could be you just got a bad one. Unfortunately it happens.
Thank you! My antifreeze was just below the minimum line.
You're welcome! I'm glad I could help. Sometimes it is the simple things that cause the problems. At least it is a quick, easy fix.
Make sure your battery cables are on nice and tight, and not encrusted with junk.
