my 2010 mercury mariner surges at idle, at stop lights and will shut down while driving. codes indicate O2 sensors rich. when clear all codes car runs great.
I can pull off road and it starts right up. This happens when engine warm.

It sounds like a vacuum leak. The O2 sensors are reading rich because the computer is trying to compensate for the extra air by adding fuel.
