So anytime i’m driving and i go to reverse the car it doesn’t automatically roll back. So when i put pressure on the pedal the car lags and jerks a lot in the beginning but it acts normal after 5 seconds. Then! Anytime i get to a stop and put the shift in park. The car jerks after 3 seconds. Anytime i put it in drive to drive off the car jerks again. Please let me know how i can fix this issue!

The only way this issue can be fixed is by either replacing/rebuilding the CVT or getting rid of it and buying a new car. As a last resort, you can maybe try adding a bottle of CVT transmission fix additive and see if that helps. CVTs are very problematic in my opinion. I have a friend who had CVT issues similar to yours on his 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer GTS. I told him to just sell the car and get a new one, which he did do. It's not worth trying to fix/replace the CVT.
