Hi, I have a 2010 Nissan Altima 2.5s with 150 000kms on it and when I try to maintain my speed or accelerate with the RPMs around 1000-2000, the car jerks back and forth a bit and makes a droning, growling, vibration sound. If I give it more gas, the sound goes away.
It only happens at low rpm acceleration at any speeds.
Any thoughts?
Have you got the car scanned for any trouble codes? It may be something to do with the CVT, or it may be a misfiring engine.

I had it scanned by a mechanic but it has no codes and they found nothing.
The link above seems to sum up the issue, is this done for free by the dealer or out of pocket?
I’m pretty sure it’ll be out of pocket as the car is out of warranty.
