2010 RAV4 with wonky JBL stereo

My Daughter recently (July 2022) purchased a 2010 RAV4 Limited V6 with the JBL Stereo system with 82000 miles on it.  After she had is a few months, she started having this problem with the stereo.  Regardless of what she's listening to, FM/AM, CD or Aux input it all sounds the same. If the radio is on and the car is not moving, then there's no sound OR the radio works perfectly. Then you move maybe 3 feet and the stereo volume turns off. (just the volume, not the stereo.  It is as if someone presses a "mute" button) As one accelerates this cycle increases and the radio sound comes in and out faster, like an intermittent bad ground but without the bad ground whine. This is only affecting the sound.  The power appears to be constant (ie. no flickering of the power / lights) Is there some other device on the same circuit that could be effecting the radio?

Thanks for your help!

Pull the radio fuse to see if other accessories are on that circuit and look at them.  Also, get the alternator load tested.

Alternator tests ok. No common accessories on the circuit that are misbehaving.
