  1. Hi Scotty . Looking at a white 2010 Scion tC with 112000 thousand miles .  Two owner vehicle. New tires . 6500.00 is the agreed upon price .  I know you love Toyotas so we thought this would be a good choice . We were comparing to VW Jetta and Passat!
    Thanks!

Not if it has the 2AZ-FE 2.4 engine which is known for burning oil due to defective piston rings installed at the factory.

My first car in when i got my license was a 06 TC with the 2.4L Manual transmission. I loved the car to death, sat in front of it at the dealership waiting for my mom to get off work so she can bring me my money for the car that I had saved up for. It was a great fun little car, and it lasted me all through out high school and my Marine Corps Career. Sadly I always knew that it burnt oil, later learning on that it was from piston rings. I was pretty good about changing the oil at 5,000 miles, but after my 2nd deployment and letting a family member borrow the car, the engine had a knock from low oil. Overall, great car, but be very keen at checking oil levels if you purchase one.
